My blog postings will reflect my daily life & the things I most enjoy. I have named it for the Salt Spray Rose. I have a love affair with the ocean and the wild roses growing along the beaches. The Salt Spray Rose (Rosa Rugosa)grows on these beaches. The photos on my blog were taken on a trip to Rhode Island and Connecticut a few years ago. The rose is very fragrant, and has large 5 petaled roses. These I often reproduce in my silk ribbon embroidery.
I am a woman of too many interests. My mind is constantly questioning, wanting to know the whys and wherefores of everything. There are not always answers but I enjoy the chase and the chance to research and learn of other exciting new things. I am married to a wonderful man, my best friend. We have no children but are owned by our 11 year old male Cock-A-Poo Murphy McGuire, and Jade, our fiesty short haired American kitty. No, that is not Jade in my photo ;-)that is my cousin's kitty Thelma.
